As of 08:00 this morning, the electronic platform for submitting applications regarding the OPeKA Child Benefit (A21) is now open. The platform will remain active and accept new applications until April 30, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Beneficiaries can submit their application on the HEDICA platform at www.idika.gr or via the official website www.opeka.gr using their personal Taxisnet access codes. The entitled amount will be calculated based on the dependent children declared in the 2025 A21 application and the total family income from the 2023 tax year. After filing the current year’s Income Tax Declaration, incomes from the 2024 tax year will also be considered. Notably, conditions for receiving the child benefit include the attendance of dependent children in compulsory education—from preschool to high school—and sufficient attendance records. In the A21 application, it is mandatory to enter details about the educational institution, the student’s grade, and their enrollment number. If all student data matches, the application proceeds normally. Otherwise, applicants must attach necessary documentation to their electronic A21 application. To complete the process, the application must be submitted and approved officially. Applications saved temporarily are not considered submitted and will not be processed.
