The Corporate Affairs Professional Association (CAPA) marks its first anniversary, strengthening the institutional voice of corporate affairs and strategic communications professionals. Founded by 44 charter members from across the corporate affairs and communications spectrum, CAPA — created ‘by professionals for professionals’ — now boasts over 130 members and continues to grow. To celebrate its founding and the new year, CAPA hosted a dual-event celebration and vasilopita cutting at the Olympic Museum Athens’ Golden Hall — the capital’s only Olympic museum. President Anthi Trokoudi presented a brief 2025 review, highlighting CAPA’s commitment to three strategic pillars: Connection (building networks, mentoring, and career development), Development (international collaboration and knowledge exchange), and Influence (positioning corporate affairs as a strategic business driver and professionals as key stakeholders). A comprehensive strategic plan — approved by the Board and underway — includes targeted actions, policy interventions, and expansion initiatives. CAPA also emphasized the central role of its Working Groups in driving transparency, accountability, and shared ethics. In its first year, CAPA participated in the Delphi Forum and over four major industry and business conferences, launched two ‘CAPAcities’ events on corporate communications trends, and co-created the ‘Corporate Affairs Training Hub’ with ANT1 MediaLab — a professional development initiative dedicated to excellence in corporate affairs and PR.
