Omonia: Convicted of murder the man shot in the middle of the street

New information about those who fell on Monday afternoon (23.09.2024) in , where strangers opened fire on a man of Albanian descent in the middle of the road, resulting in the spread of terror in the area. The victim of Albanian descent is hospitalized with shoulder and hand injuries in the People’s Hospital from the shooting in Omonia, with the perpetrators not yet arrested. As it became known, the incident occurred when a black jeep approached a fast food store on Crete Street where the victim was with a friend. Then the driver of the vehicle pulled out a gun and started firing at the victim. After an investigation it was revealed that the victim in 2000 had been convicted of murder at 15 years in prison, according to MEGA. The tragedy of the case is that next to their “target” were families and various passers-by who were fortunately not injured. Although a direct patrol car arrived at the scene, the police found the perpetrators, only seven casings. So far, the motives of the attack have not been known, while at the point there is a strong police presence trying to find evidence of the perpetrators.
