Olympiacos CAE: ASEAD Confirms One-Month Stadium Ban for Dimitris Giannakopoulos

The Olympiacos CAE issued a statement following the confirmation by ASEAD of the penalty prohibiting Dimitris Giannakopoulos from entering stadiums for one month. The Olympiacos CAE announced that ASEAD rejected Giannakopoulos’s appeal and upheld the ban. According to ASEAD’s decision number 37/31.03.2025, the penalty was confirmed due to a defamatory post titled ‘Criminal Basketball Organization’ made during halftime of the basketball match between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos on January 20, 2025. In addition to this penalty, five more months remain out of the total twelve months previously imposed on Giannakopoulos through decisions numbered 108/12.06.2024, 114/19.06.2024, and 115/02.07.2024 by the MDOS of ESAAKE.
