The Thessaloniki Port Authority (OLTH) has issued an official condolence statement following the death of Vagia Nestora, mother of Aphrodite Nestora — a non-executive member of OLTH’s Board of Directors. As Greece’s largest port operator and a publicly listed company, OLTH serves as a key infrastructure hub in northern Greece.
In the announcement, OLTH’s shareholders, Board of Directors, and employees expressed their profound sorrow over the loss. The statement reads: “In these difficult times, we stand with respect and solidarity beside Ms. Nestora and her family, offering our sincere condolences and wishing them strength and courage to face this great loss — especially in the wake of recent tragic events.”
It adds: “Our thoughts are with Ms. Aphrodite Nestora and her loved ones.”
