Olga Gerovasil: Stefanos Kasselakis has no place in SYRIZA – There were others who accepted bullying

He was attacked by the vice-president of the House, noting that the former president of SYRIZA has no place in the party, and revealed that there were others who accepted bullying, due to “autocratic behaviors”. “Mr. Stefanos Kasselakis was unfortunately, despite the initial expectations, an unpleasant development for political and meritful reasons,” Mrs. Olga Gerovasili said, among other things, accusing him of showing no political deepening in things. At the same time, he expressed the view that he has no place in SYRIZA, as he said he does not know the basics of Aristera, while recalling the extreme characterizations of “cocoupers ” he used. “The harshest propaganda coming from our right-wing opponents has not used the term. I believe that after a year in Greece, at least he should know the basic elements of the Left and know that in the House addressed had militants and people imprisoned in dictatorship,” he said, among other things, talking to Mega. Commenting on developments in the party, he said the aim of the political secretariat’s latest frequent meetings is to organise the road map until the SYRIZA conference and procedures for electing the party’s new leadership. “Obviously, some will claim the leadership of Syriza, these people must have certain conditions. In the Political Secretariat, issues were discussed, such as whether one should display his Pontus Lasts or a criminal record certificate,” he said. The same point expressed the view that in addition to the congressman Katerina Notopoulou, there were others who were bullied by the former president of SYRIZA, because of authoritarian behaviour. She left open the possibility of running for the SYRIZA presidency, while stressing that the party “should regroup quickly in order to address the citizens’ problems”.
