(Title) Detecting oil field potential 1.8 billion barrels in the northern part of the country, said Afghanistan.
The “black gold” was found among the provinces of Balkh and Simpergan after a survey of Afghan and foreign geologists. As said ministry spokesman Mineral Resources’ initial assessment refers to 1.8 billion barrels and I think there is more quantity than the original estimate. From the authorities explained that the deposit will be given for use with other mineral resources in the coming months.
