Oil: Broke the $80 Dam Brent Price

Slow Brent was ejected today (7.10.2024) to $80 a barrel marking its highest price since August, as increasing tension in increasing speculation that Israel may attack Iran’s oil infrastructure as retaliation. Specifically, the futures of Brent oil are reinforced by $1.73 or 2.14% to $79.70 a barrel, in anticipation of the instability prevailing in the Middle East. The future contracts of the American slow WTI marked a $1.84 jump or 2.46% reaching $76.21. The December Brent delivery exceeded $80 and moves to $80.69 a barrel, with an increase of $2.63 or 3.40%.
