Off-Duty Drunken Policeman Causes Car Accident with Trolley in Patissia

An accident occurred early Sunday morning on Halkidos Street in Patissia when a car driven by an off-duty policeman under the influence of alcohol collided with a trolley. The incident happened at around 8:00 AM when, under unclear circumstances, the officer lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a passing trolley. Upon arrival, traffic police confirmed that the man had a blood alcohol level of 0.30 grams per liter. Charges have been filed against him for dangerous driving.
