In a recent interview with ERT, Nikos Papandreou, MEP of PASOK, expressed his strong stance against expulsions and exclusions within the party. ‘Generally, I am against any form of expulsion or exclusion for any member of the party,’ he stated while commenting on recent events involving former PASOK member Kostas Kastanidis, who was excluded from speaking engagements in Thessaloniki. Papandreou emphasized that PASOK needs to move forward as an ‘electroshock’ to revitalize its presence. He humorously added that the party requires an ‘unpredictable element’—a bold change that can reinvigorate its image. ‘We want this unpredictability. It exists, and we will find it,’ he concluded.
