Greek Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, participated in the military parade of the Armed Forces and Security Corps held today (25.03.2025) at Syntagma Square to commemorate the 204th anniversary of the Greek Revolution of 1821. As the representative of the political leadership of the Armed Forces, Dendias presided over the military parade and delivered his message marking the 204 years since the beginning of the struggle for independence. In a personal tweet, Dendias expressed pride not only for the men and women of the Armed Forces but also for his son, Stefanos Dendias, who is currently serving his military service. A photo was shared showing Stefanos posing with an anti-armor STRIM type weapon during the military parade in Alexandroupoli. Stefanos serves in an Army unit in Evros.
