Regarding the revision of the article concerning the abolition of permanency in the Public Sector, as announced by the Prime Minister, Greece’s stance on Palestine, and the tragedy in Tempie, Nikos Androulakis, President of PASOK, spoke during MEGA’s Live News broadcast on Thursday (22.05.2025). In his interview with Nicos Evangelatos, Androulakis discussed the proposal submitted by PASOK for the establishment of a preliminary investigation committee regarding Costas A. Karamanlis and Tempie, criticizing New Democracy’s claims that Harilalou Trikoupis had not read the draft before submitting the proposal. He stated, ‘They probably haven’t read it themselves. Mr. Bakaimis is filing malicious prosecutions against the general directors of the ministry based on Article 291. If Article 291 only pertained to material theft at the railways, why are general directors prosecuted by the responsible investigator for theft? We have 57 fatalities. Instead of stopping provocations, they continue relentlessly without remorse. I don’t hear the Prime Minister explaining what ND will do. It’s an internal party bazaar of ND filled with flaws and malfeasance. I see a deal between Mr. Mitsotakis and Mr. Karamanlis.’ Androulakis also addressed Gaza, emphasizing that while the government took initiative, their previous stance lacked seriousness. He criticized the delayed response and emphasized the importance of human rights and international law.
