A new video document has emerged detailing the actions of a 51-year-old man who stormed a police station in Koropi, injuring three officers. Earlier that day, he had also attacked two other individuals, one of whom was boarding a bus, as reported by newsit.gr. The newly acquired footage captures frame-by-frame the entire route taken by the attacker to strike a 57-year-old greengrocer with a rock and subsequently board the bus where he carried out his second attack on a 29-year-old.

In the 100-second video, the 51-year-old is seen rising from his seat on Agias Marinas Street in Koropi and heading towards the stall of the 57-year-old producer. After covering a short distance, upon reaching the man who was trying to unload his cart early Sunday morning, the attacker grabs a rock and strikes him in the eye. The attacker and the victim are shown interacting for about 15 seconds during which the assailant utters a few words.

“My father was talking on the phone with my mother when the attack happened. They didn’t know each other at all; the man simply approached him and asked if he was a farmer. My father replied affirmatively, and then he was struck with the rock in the eye before the attacker fled,” said the son of the 57-year-old to newsit.gr.

The man, who spread fear in the Koropi area for approximately three hours, returned to the urban bus stop where he had been earlier. There, he waited 12 seconds until the bus stopped in front of him. He boarded it, and after some time, while the OASA vehicle was just a few meters from the Anapaueseos Street stop, the 51-year-old attacked a 29-year-old inside the bus, injuring him on the head with blows from a metal rod.

At the same time, the attacker’s lawyer, Andreas Theodoropoulos, stated to newsit.gr that he represents the 51-year-old without excusing his actions. However, due to the client’s psychiatric condition, there are some mitigating factors.
