A 12-year-old student became the victim of a brutal beating at a public elementary school in New Philadelphia, with his mother recounting shocking details. The child returned home injured, informing his parents about how he was assaulted by classmates. “The child came home with a torn jacket, bruised neck, body, hip, and spine. He went to drink water from the fountain when two children threw something in his face. He told the teacher, who advised him to ignore them. When he went back to drink water, they attacked him,” the mother told ANT1. According to the mother, this is not the first incident involving at least two out of five children who have been troubling her son. “We’ve been in New Philadelphia for two years. We try our best to make him forget it, as psychologists suggested. I hope it will be forgotten.” The injured child was transferred to the Agia Kyriaki Children’s Hospital. It should be noted that the student underwent necessary medical examinations at the hospital and was also examined by a forensic doctor. The incident has been reported to the police by the boy’s mother.
