New Chalkidona: Woman Found Strangled in Her Apartment

A 48-year-old woman was found dead in her bed by her 20-year-old son at 6:50 PM on Friday (23/5/25) inside the apartment they shared in New Chalkidona. Immediately, the woman’s son, who is from Syria, called the police. The forensic doctor who examined the lifeless body determined that the woman had been strangled. The victim’s home was found in a state of disarray. Authorities are investigating through the victim’s son’s testimony to determine if the woman had conflicts with anyone, if she had received threats, or if anything was missing from the house, suggesting a burglary gone wrong.
