He stressed that what is being discussed is to compensate for the reductions that have been made with strengthening the care for the personnel of the Armed Forces, citing the example of the exploitation of the property of the Armed Forces, which aims to improve the lives of the executives, both at unit level and at the individual level.
Mr. Vitsa pointed out, even, that the human factor is a force multiplier, and noted that the leadership of the Ministry of National Defense that takes it very seriously.
She also referred to the prevailing conditions in the wider surroundings of our country and the threats that exist, pointing out that Greece is a pole of stability in the region. Referring to the Armed Forces, stressed that it is in a position to deal with any threat, while at the same time underlined the responsibility of the State to maintain high levels of combat effectiveness of the Armed Forces. He then mentioned that as regards the Air Force, is a key priority for the upgrading and modernisation of existing instruments.
