A new earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck Constantinople (Istanbul) late this evening (April 25, 2025), following the 6.2 magnitude quake on April 23 that has kept millions of residents and visitors on edge. The epicenter of the 4.3-magnitude quake was located in the Marmara Sea, off the open coast of Büyükdere, according to Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
