Nauplio: 21-Year-Old Arrested for Storing 760 Firecrackers at Home

A 21-year-old was arrested in Nauplio after authorities discovered and seized 760 firecrackers hidden in his home. Legal documentation has been filed against the young man, who is being prosecuted for violating laws related to fireworks and Bengal lights. Specifically, police found a total of 760 firecrackers of various types, two devices (a pistol and rotating launcher) for launching fireworks, and 485 empty air canisters (propellant containers for fireworks). The suspect will be brought before the competent prosecutor. The police investigation and preliminary inquiry are being conducted by the Nauplio Crime Pursuit and Investigation Department.
