National water polo team coach Thodoris Vlachos has announced the 15 athletes who will represent Greece at the Men’s World Aquatics Water Polo World Cup 2025 Final in Podgorica, Montenegro, scheduled for April 11-13. The squad includes Manos Zervevas, Dino Genidounias, Dimitris Skoumbakis, Kostas Giouvetzi, Stelios Argyropoulos-Kanakakis, Vagelis Pourros, Nikos Gilla, Stathis Kalogeropoulos, Giannis Alafarakis, Kostas Kakaris, Dimitris Nikolaides, Nikolaos Papanikolaou, Manolis Andreades, Nikos Gardikas, and Nikos Giannatos. Alongside them will be assistant coach Tasos Schizas, physiotherapist Andreas Tzanes, video analysis manager Lefteris Katsinoulas, and mission leader Giorgos Margiouklas. International referee Kostas Vasilious will also join the delegation. Greece’s national team will face Japan in one of the quarterfinal matches on Friday, April 11, at 7:20 PM local time. The semifinals will take place on Saturday (April 12), followed by the finals on Sunday (April 13).
