National Pole: Bucharest World Cup Mission announced

Or ready for the World Cup to take place in Bucharest, Romania (6/01 – 12/01/25), with our federal coach Thodoris Vlachos making known who will travel for the tournament. Shortly after the victorious official friendly with Georgia, federal technician Theodore Vlachos announced the 15th of the Men’s National Water polo team to travel to Bucharest, Romania (and specifically the Otopeni suburb), Monday morning 6/1, to compete in the World Cup qualifiers (6-12/1/2025). CORVERSE The team will be accompanied, in addition to federal technician Thodoris Vlahos, his partner Tasos Schizas, natural therapist Andreas Giannis, video analyst Christos Kodelas and Tim manager George Margioklas, as mission leader. With them also international referee George Stavridis. The mission of the National Pole Manos Zerdevas, Dinos Genidounias, Dimitris Skounakis, Kostas Giouvetsis, Stelios Argyropoulos – Kanakakis, Alexander Papanastasiou, Nikos Gillas, Stathis Kalogeorgopoulos, Giannis Alafrakis, Kostas Kakaris, Dimitris Nikolaidis, Aristidis Chalkivopoulos, Panagiotis Georgatos, Takis Municipality, Nikos Kourouvanis. Our National Team will start its games at World Cup Group II on Tuesday (7/1) at 16:30 (Greece time) against Montenegro, while Wednesday (8/1) at 9:00 in the morning it faces Serbia. The games will take place at the Otopeni swimming pool.
