National Exams 2025: Candidates for General High Schools Begin Today – Arrival Time and Useful Info

The exams for General High Schools will begin today (May 30, 2025) with the Modern Greek Language and Literature paper. Candidates for the National Exams are competing for one of the 68,788 spots in Higher Education for the academic year 2025-26. As the National Exams commence, it is crucial for candidates to be aware of key details to ensure a smooth process. The exam starts at 8:30 AM, but candidates must arrive in their exam rooms no later than 8:00 AM. The duration of the exam is three hours. On Saturday, May 31, 2025, the National Exams for Vocational High Schools will also begin. To help students complete their exams without issues, the Ministry advises candidates to bring the following items: identification document or passport, examination candidate’s bulletin, blue or black pen, eraser, geometry tools if needed, a small bottle of water or juice, and an analog wristwatch. Prohibited items include books, notes, correction fluid, mobile phones, smartwatches, and any communication devices. Special attention should be given to managing the answer booklet efficiently as only one will be provided per student. Candidates can use the last pages of the booklet as scratch paper, clearly marked as such, which will not be graded. Students must avoid folding or damaging the cover of the booklet.
