Nasa: The space-blocked astronaut makes her first walk after 7 months in orbit

Her Suni Williams, one of the two astronauts stranded at the International Space Station, came out Thursday (16.01.2025) for a space walk, for the first time after 7 months in orbit. Suni Williams along with Butch Wilmore- the two astronauts of Nasa- left Earth for a mission in June 2024 and were due to return after a week, but their return was delayed due to a technical problem. CORVERSE Now they will not return until the end of March or possibly April. Williams – experienced astronaut who has conducted many space walks during previous stays on the ISS – worked with astronaut Nick Hague to perform maintenance on the ship. The astronaut will take a second space walk on January 23 along with Wilmore. Each space walk lasts at least six and a half hours, as the BBC writes.
