A mysterious incident occurred recently in Nea Smyrni, where a parked car caught fire for an unknown reason. The flames erupted around 3:00 PM on June 6, 2025, on Nikolaos Plastiras Street. An unknown passerby noticed the fire and began honking persistently to alert nearby residents. Reports indicate that small explosions occurred due to the fire. Fortunately, no pedestrians or the car’s owner, who was luckily not inside at the time, were injured. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and this morning, an autopsy was conducted by members of the Fire Brigade’s investigative team to determine the cause of the fire.
