A puzzling case has emerged involving the deaths of three members of the Sidiroplou family within a span of two weeks. Katerina Sidiroplou, 98, passed away on April 15 due to septic shock. Six days later, her daughter Vera, 78, succumbed to multiple organ failure and cardiac arrest. Tragically, Michael Sidiroplou, 75, followed suit on April 28 with heart-related issues. Yesterday, the investigation file was handed over from the Homicide Department to the Prosecution Office, prompting an inquiry into whether these deaths were due to criminal activity. The autopsy of all three deceased individuals will play a crucial role in the investigation. Additionally, the brother-in-law of Vera and Michael filed a formal complaint against any responsible parties. Further developments are expected today, including a search of the family home and scrutiny of bank accounts for suspicious transactions. Friends of Michael Sidiroplou had previously reached out to Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis requesting assistance as the family faced financial difficulties during his hospitalization.
