The years passed, as the company has at least 6 years of life, ripened the conditions and the efforts have borne fruit, and for a year the “doors opened” and it seems that the case of the conversion of the house of Nikos Gatsos in a Museum, it begins to take on “flesh and bones”.
The exclusive report of the Municipal Radio of Tripolis 91,5 reports that in the meeting of the Economic Commission of the Municipality of Tripoli, tomorrow, Tuesday 23 February, after the recommendation of the competent deputy Mayor, Dimitris Βόσνου, will be the acceptance of the donation of the heir of the house of Nikos Gatsos, Church ΔημητÏοÏκα, a process which had begun a year ago and was completed a few days ago.
The Economic Committee, as a committee, will make acceptance of the gift not only of the house of Nikos Gatsos and the house heirs of the family of George Gatsos, which is located adjacent to the home of the poet and authorise the Mayor for further action (signing of contracts and other documents that may be required).
The solemn declarations of the Royal Gatsos, ΧÏυσάνθης Πλατανίτη who are the heirs of the second house and the Church in ΔημητÏοÏκα is at the disposal of the Municipality of Tripoli and the process is completed.
By the partner and heir of the poet Nikos Gatsos set some conditions for the free concession of the residence in the Municipality of Tripoli.
According to the documents at the disposal of the Municipal Radio of Tripolis 91,5 the first condition relates to the operation of the house, as επισκÎψιμου space museum, about the life and work of Nikos Gatsos.
The Municipality will undertake to demolish the later adjacent building (a common wall).
The responsibility for the operation of the Museum will have a legitimate college that will establish the municipality of Tripoli and which will necessarily involve the donor Agathe ΔημητÏοÏκα and a member proposing the same, e.g., Manolis Mitsias, the main interpreter of the songs of Nikos Gatsos.
Still the staff should be Ασεάτες literate and preferably permanent residents of Asea, as long as they have the required qualifications.
In the solemn declaration of the concession referred to is still the mode of operation of the Museum, the events will be made in this, the working hours, the payment or non-payment, while finally, it is noted that “in the event that frustrated the purpose of the donation, with the responsibility and fault of the City (with the exception of the lack of necessary financing) and does not operate the museum within five years or if it stopped completely the operation of the Museum for a period of more than six months, the donation may be revoked and the building to reach the “Drosoulites”.
