Murder of 3-Year-Old Angel in Heraklion: Biological Father Also Accused of Abuse

New details have emerged regarding the murder of 3-year-old Angel in Heraklion, involving both his mother and paternal father. Now, the biological father is also under scrutiny for alleged abuse. According to a report by Star, serious allegations have been filed against the biological father of 3-year-old Angel from Heraklion for child abuse. The charges include causing physical harm and health damage, which constitute systematic infliction of severe physical pain, dangerous physical exhaustion, and psychological suffering that could lead to serious mental harm, with a minor as the victim. Additionally, there are accusations of exposing a minor to danger. Recently, he received a summons for accountability before the Heraklion Investigating Judge. “It is confirmed that criminal prosecution has been initiated against the biological father of 3-year-old Angel. My client had very good communication with the biological father, who unsuccessfully tried to contact the mother. He was aware, understood, and I believe there is photographic evidence that the child was abused even before the three-month cohabitation of the biological mother with my client. The criminal prosecution, I believe, is based more on the mother’s testimony and additionally on what arises from the second forensic medical opinion,” stated the defense attorney of the accused paternal father, Vasilis Noulazas. Forensic doctors identified previous injuries on the child, while the mother reportedly claimed that the biological father left home after hitting her, leading to her filing a complaint. “They issued him a warning; afterward, he tried to find me. He called me, sent messages, etc. I gave him a chance, and when we went there, the child was one year old, and he was beating the child. Then I filed a complaint, but nothing happened,” said the 26-year-old mother, who has been detained for brutally abusing her child. On the other hand, Angel’s biological father categorically denied ever hitting his son. Meanwhile, the paternal father, currently imprisoned in Grevena, requests a wing change due to threats, sharing the fourth wing with the Greek murderer of Elena Topaloudi.
