Murder of 27-Year-Old in Nea Peramos: ‘A Brave Young Man Shot 9 Times, Lost Unjustly and Brutally’

The murder of a 27-year-old entrepreneur from Chania has plunged his family and friends into deep mourning. His body was discovered on Sunday, February 1, 2026, in a ravine in Nea Peramos — riddled with ten bullets, nine in the back and one in the head. He had been reported missing a week earlier, after his fiancée filed a complaint stating that four armed men abducted him on Monday, February 26, 2026, outside his home in Eleusis. Homicide investigators from the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime believe the perpetrators drove him directly to the crime scene, shot and killed him, then unsuccessfully attempted to burn the body. Forensic examination confirmed multiple gunshot wounds, and two 9mm shell casings were recovered at the site. Authorities suspect financial motives linked to his professional circle. His uncle told patris.gr: ‘He was a brave young man, lost unjustly and brutally — a 27-year-old with a golden heart and soul. Not a single person would call him bad. He was a simple, hardworking entrepreneur.’
