Murder in Lamia: A Grim Arsenal Found in the Home of the 43-Year-Old Suspect

In a shocking discovery, law enforcement officials uncovered an extensive arsenal at the home of the 43-year-old suspect involved in the brutal murder of a 59-year-old café owner on Monday, June 23, 2025. The collection included knives, swords, daggers, hatchets, ironmongery tools, imitation firearms, and more. The suspect is now charged with murder and severe violations of weapons legislation. At the crime scene, authorities recovered the murder weapon—a knife—along with additional evidence, including the clothes worn by the suspect during the act. During a thorough search of the suspect’s residence, police found a staggering total of 76 knives, swords, and daggers (some custom-made), iron tools, three whetstones for sharpening blades, an imitation handgun, a hunting rifle replica, handcuffs, and mobile devices.
