The hundreds of friends of the folk song, and fans of the Army which flocked to the Αμαλίειο Theatre, was enjoyed by, among others, the most popular songs of the composer, such as: did you get it all, The suffering of me, I packed up the things, And call call.
The repertoire of completed large successes of Akis Panou, Anthony Ρεπάνη, Mimis Plessas, Takis Soukas, Christos Nikolopoulos, as well as songs from personal business by Angelos and Stelios.
The pop concert attended along with the crowd of spectators, the Mayor of Amaroussion mr Giorgos Patoulis, who spoke with highly appreciative words for the composer of many successes, which interpreted the great pop singers and who wrote the biggest hits of Stratos Dionysiou.
“The bouzouki Thanasis Polykandriotis “sang” tonight in Maroussi, sided ideals of the great voices of Aggelos and Stelios Dionysiou and with the unique orchestra in Greece that consists of so many clubs, giving unique moments. This successful folk evening with the beloved of our artists soon to be repeated in our city, so we tonight we are here to have the chance to enjoy it again, but for those of you who were not able tonight to be close to us.

The event was also attended by the Chairman of the Public Enterprise mr. Nicholas Peppas and the Councillors, mr Dimitris Karlaftis and Peter ΚόνιαÏης.
The Festival of the Municipality of Maroussi continues on the Live Stage @ The Bar of the Αμαλίειου Theatre ( Ave. Kifisias 219), with a tribute to the legendary band ‘The Doors’ with the Moonlight Overdrive and supporting act: The Buzz Dealers, Friday 8 July at 21:00.
