the rendezvous with the offer and solidarity. With the start of the new school year, we collect school supplies for the students of our schools who are in need.
The concentration of school supplies (bags, spiral notebooks, sheets of A4 paper, pencils, pens, pencil cases etc.e.) will be held on 15, 16, 17 and 18 September at the Old town Hall of Glyfada (Poseidon & Saki Karagiorga) from 10 am.m. – 1m.m. and from 6 m.m. – 9 m.m.
At the same time, this year for the strengthening of this social action will be collecting school supplies and during the attendance of spectators at cultural events organized by the Municipality of Glyfada in the 3rd Marina of the 2 as and 21 September 2016 (for the program of theatrical performances and concerts of the festival check out the www.glyfada.gr).
The Mayor of Glyfada Georgios Papanikolaou, has invited all of the entities, associations, entrepreneurs, citizens, and visitors of the city to respond to this initiative. The items collected will be donated through the Union of Associations of Parents of Glyfada to the students who need it and to the recipient families of the social structures of 23 and 25 September 2016.
It is worth noting that the previous years were collected and distributed to 1,400 school bags filled with stationery to students of our city.
