Vigils honoring the victims of the train disaster were held by expatriates in Munich and Frankfurt on the second anniversary of the tragic event, Friday, February 28th. Over 1,000 expatriates flooded the square, creating a vibrant mosaic of solidarity. Key slogans such as ‘I HAVE NO OXYGEN’ and ‘Justice for Tempi – Gerechtigkeit für Tempi’ echoed loudly across the Bavarian capital’s Königsplatz. Speakers emphasized the importance of preserving the memory of the victims and maintaining pressure for reforms in Greece’s railway network, effective functioning of Greek Justice, and accountability.
