The Greek Police, consistent with the principle of open governance and to inform the citizens about the work of the Authorities, continues to publish overall figures of arrests, εξιχνιάσεων, strains and seizures, per month and for the whole Territory.
During the month of December, 2016, of the Services of the Hellenic Police throughout the Territory, were arrested a total of 7.306 people against 9.163 in November 2016.
In particular:
Solved a total of 2.814 cases, compared 3.263 in November 2016.

Dismantled a total of 29 coils, compared to 38 in November 2016.

9 coils that were committing thefts – break-ins,
8 coils that were dealing drugs,
4 coils that committed fraud,
3 coils running irregular migrants,
2 coils were committing robberies,
1 coil by blackmail,
1 coil was committing counterfeiting coin
1 coil for infringements of the legislation on antiquities.

Cocaine: 3 pounds, and 198 grams approximately

06-12-2016: Arrested directly alien, who is injured with a foldable pocket knife pair of nationals, in the area of Faros, Avlida, Evia
06-12-2016: Dismantled a criminal organisation whose members cheated mostly elderly, in Lassithi
09-12-2016: Statements of the Head of the Directorate of Economic Police and the Spokesman of the Hellenic Police force for the dismantling of a criminal organisation, transnational character, that manufactured – dealing in Greece & abroad, anabolic drugs
