Mitsotakis: Strengthening the anti-missile shield of Europe, bridges for international cooperation Law – Rute: Greece’s strong ally

The Prime Minister then broadcast the message that it is “needed to strengthen Europe’s anti-missile shield”. “ The antimissile shield, rather than ever timely, can discuss how this necessity can be done, ” the prime minister said. “We jointly recognised that in modern challenges we must build bridges of cooperation with partners. We must proceed with faith in the principles of democracy, freedom, with the need to respect international law and international treaties, which particularly concerns the sensitive region of the western Balkans. We discussed the constructive role of Greece, recognised as a pillar of stability and security in the southeastern part of NATO,” said Mitsotakis. He also said that “I hope the ceasefire negotiations in southern Lebanon will work to close the front as soon as possible. ” As the Prime Minister stressed, addressing the NATO SG, “we have confirmed our commitment to the alliance. Building cooperation bridges with our partners with an essential commitment to International Law and International treaties. ” And he concluded: “Unitedly we conquer more easily what we need and easier to ward off risks”. For his part, Mark Rute stressed that Greece has been a committed NATO ally for 72 years. “ Greece has invested 3% of its GDP in defence and is moving on to new modernisation of the armed forces, ” he said and referring to Ukraine, he said: “Greece has supported Ukraine since the early days of Russia’s attack. We must strengthen defence by increasing investment,” he added. “ Defend every inch of NATO territory. Greece is a powerful ally, ” he noted. It is noted that Mark Route has visited Greece as Prime Minister of the Netherlands before. The meeting at Maximus will follow expanded talks, statements and the next meal.
