Mitsotakis in Putin: “We send a message to the Kremlin: You won’t scare us! We will continue to support Ukraine”

One day just after the Russians launched an attack on Odessa near the motorcade that carried the Greek Prime Minister and President of Ukraine, Volontim Zelenski, the Prime Minister spoke to Bucharest at the European People’s Party conference. “I was with President Zelenski when a Russian rocket fell near the port of Odessa,” said the prime minister referring to yesterday’s Russian attack and stressed: “We send a message to the Kremlin: you will not frighten us and we will continue to support the citizens of Ukraine”. He also said that Europe demonstrated a unity unprecedented in terms of the crisis in Ukraine and our enemies did not expect this. “We support Ukraine militarily and financially and send the message that no violation of international law will be accepted by the European Family.” “European elections are a battle that will define our future,” the prime minister said at the EPP conference. See the speech earlier, the Prime Minister had a meeting with Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, at the seat of the Romanian government. During the meeting the strengthening of bilateral cooperation was discussed, with an emphasis on energy and interconnection.
