A serious assault on a 15-year-old boy in Missolonghi on Monday, 29 June 2026, led Greek authorities to arrest three minors and their parents. The attack took place on a central square in Missolonghi, where three teenagers approached the boy, verbally abused him, and then launched a violent physical assault.
According to reports from tempo.24, one of the attackers threw a flowerpot at the teenager during the incident. Another filmed the entire assault on a mobile phone. Police quickly identified and arrested all three minors. In an unusual step, authorities also placed handcuffs on the teenagers’ parents during the arrests.
