Ministry of Agricultural Development: New Support Payment Rates for Farmers – Payments by End of June

Following the completion of required audits and the submission of updated data by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food (YPAAAT) — acting as the payment agency for producers — has issued amending decisions to set the new unit rates for income support payments under the 2025 support year.

Farmers have already received their initial linked income support payments based on the original decisions. Under the announced payment schedule, any resulting differences arising from the revised unit rates will be paid out by the end of June.

In most intervention categories, the new unit rates have been set at the maximum allowable level. In the remaining categories, they are very close to those ceilings — reaching the highest levels recorded so far under the implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Strategic Plan 2023–2027.

The completion of AADE’s verification process enabled a more precise determination of eligible land areas and livestock numbers, ensuring that available funds are directed exclusively to genuine beneficiary producers.

This process underscores the close collaboration between YPAAAT and AADE — as the designated payment body — to guarantee fair and accurate distribution of support in full compliance with both EU and national regulatory frameworks.
