On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 11 a.m., the grand military parade will take place in Athens. The Traffic Police have implemented several traffic regulations to ensure the smooth execution of the event. According to the Traffic Police, the following traffic restrictions will be in effect in Athens on the eve and day of the March 25th anniversary: Temporary and gradual suspension of vehicle traffic, as well as parking and stopping bans from 6:00 a.m. until the end of the Military Parade on the following roads and streets and their perpendiculars up to the first parallel street: Vassilissis Sophias Avenue, Herodes Atticus Road, Vassilissis Georgiou II Road, Vassilissis Georgiou I Road, Vassilissis Amalias Avenue, Eleftheriou Venizelou (University), Omonia Square, Peiraios Street, Athinas Street, Agiou Konstantinou Street, Karaiskaki Square, 28th October (Patission) Street, Thessalonikis Street, 3rd September Street, Syntagma Square, Filellinon Street, Stadiou Street, Sygrou Avenue, Akadimias Street, Athis Diakou Street, among others. Additionally, changes to public transport routes will occur during these times. Drivers are advised to avoid the mentioned roads, avenues, and squares during the specified periods and to follow the signals and instructions of the traffic officers.
