Middle East Tensions Escalate: Iran Launches Missile Strikes on Israel

Another night of chaos engulfed the region as tensions between Israel and Iran continue to escalate dangerously. The Israeli military confirmed that Iran launched a new barrage of ballistic missiles. Reuters reported sightings of missiles in the sky accompanied by explosions over Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. An elite unit of the Iranian armed forces claimed successful strikes on various Israeli cities, promising even more devastating attacks on critical targets. According to emergency services, three people were killed and 74 injured in central Israel due to Iranian missile attacks. Two women and a man around 70 years old were among the fatalities. Rescue operations are ongoing in Haifa, where fires broke out at a power plant near the harbor. Explosions were also heard in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, with houses reportedly hit. In retaliation, Israeli forces targeted missile launch sites in central Iran. As of now, approximately 224 people have died in Israeli attacks since Friday, according to Iran’s Health Ministry. The Revolutionary Guards announced they used new methods in their latest missile assault, claiming successful hits despite advanced Israeli defense systems.
