Mexico has received approximately 39,000 individuals deported from the United States within the first 100 days of Donald Trump’s presidency. Out of these 39,000 deportees, 33,000 are Mexican nationals, as announced today (April 29, 2025) by Mexico’s President, Claudia Sheinbaum. This marks a significant decrease compared to 2024 when Mexico received around 52,000 deportees during February, March, and April under the administration of former U.S. President Joe Biden.
