Messinia: ATM Theft Attempt Foiled as Device Gets Stuck Under Truck – Watch the Video

A movie-like scenario unfolded in the Valyra area of Messinia when four individuals attempted to steal an ATM located at the entrance of a supermarket. The thieves arrived with a pickup truck, attempting to ram the ATM and later open it to retrieve the money, according to best-tv.gr. However, their luck ran out when the ATM got stuck under the vehicle. To free it, they brought another truck, repeatedly pulling the first one to dislodge the ATM. Once successful, they resumed ramming the ATM with the initial truck to break it open. Despite causing significant noise and drawing attention, the perpetrators fled hastily, leaving behind the ATM with the money. The police have launched a manhunt for the elusive criminals, while local residents express concern over the rise in attacks. According to ERT, one of the two vehicles was found burned near Triodo, reportedly stolen from a central location in Messinia.
