Message Mitsotakis to his ministers: Be aware of the problems of society – We insist on tax cuts

A clear message to his ministers to listen to the needs of Greek society facing difficulties amid continued accuracy, the Prime Minister sent at his meeting on Monday morning (25.11.24). According to the information, Kyriakos Mitsotakis during the Cabinet congratulated the Ministry of Finance and called for a continuation of policies that reduce taxes and increase jobs, stressing that a large proportion of Greeks are struggling in their everyday lives, even though unemployment indicators have declined. According to the same information, the Prime Minister in the Cabinet after presenting the budget, congratulated the work done by the Ministry of Finance in both the first and second four years. He stressed that much has been achieved and that the Greek economy has returned, pointing out that this is also evident from the data. However, he stressed that the feeling that a large part of society has is not that, which we should take into account. As the same information says, Mr Mitsotakis stressed that despite the fact that wages have increased and we have a record in reducing unemployment, many of our fellow citizens still face problems, mainly due to the accumulated increased cost of living. Thus, he added that absolute awareness of this reality is required and persistence in policy that leads to tax cuts and creates even more jobs. Finally, he eloquently commented on the irresponsibility of the opposition with its inexpensive and unspeakable promises.
