“The day of the celebration of the Epiphany is one of the biggest celebrations for the Orthodoxy, with immense theological and symbolic significance.
In addition to these, however, the current day is charged with great messages that go beyond the limits of faith. Today we are celebrating the purification and the spiritual rebirth of man.
Particularly for Greece, and the time in which we live, the demand for more “light” and truth is imperative. We continue the fight against the “darkness”, of illusions and of the regime of fear in which has been locked in the Greek society.
I hope this year’s Celebration of Lights to be a bright milestone for a new era for our country. A time of hope and optimism for a better future.
