A tragic incident occurred inside an urban bus in Menidi, a northern suburb of Athens. A man aged approximately 65–70 was found unresponsive aboard a bus operating on line 735.
According to police sources, the man was discovered unconscious inside the vehicle on Mesonychtios Street in Menidi. Authorities suspect his death may be linked to drug use, though no official cause has been confirmed.
The man was transported by ambulance to Agia Olga Hospital in Nea Ionía, where he was pronounced dead. The incident took place shortly after 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
