Menedi: Students Celebrate Setting Their School on Fire – Shocking Video Documented

The ‘achievements’ of setting fire to their own school are celebrated by students on social media. As the building burns and flames engulf the courtyard, underage boys in hoodies set off fireworks and boast about their accomplishment. According to Live News, which shared the documentary video today (06.06.2025), all this happened on Easter night at a high school in Menedi. The deputy mayor of Menedi stated it’s not the first time something like this has occurred, recalling a similar event last Easter at another school. The video was posted on TikTok by a minor student who also shows a weapon and a bag full of extinguished cigarettes in another post. The video, with nearly 300,000 views, garnered 18,231 likes. Students from other schools not only fail to condemn it in the comments but encourage the troublemakers to visit their schools and do the same. Fortunately, the material damage this year was minimal, as noted by a local resident. “They must have been around 16-17 to 25 years old. It’s likely a group of kids from another neighborhood in Acharnes.” The perpetrators remain unidentified as the video continues to circulate on TikTok.
