Meligalas: “My daughter did not drink alcohol,” says the mother of the 14-year-old – went to hospital after being ill

In the denial that her daughter was taken to hospital after excessive drinking at a nightclub at New Year’s Eve, the 14-year-old’s mother proceeded. “The little girl while she was in the shop was feeling sick,” the mother of the minor told Newsit.gr to explain how she was originally transferred to the Health Center of Meligala and then to the Kalamata General Hospital, because of this illness and not because she had consumed alcohol. CORVERSE “It is not true that the child drank alcohol” he even argued that “we have papers in our hands that say there was no alcohol consumption.” The 14-year-old, she explained, “had a panic attack and went to the hospital. I spoke to the doctor, the child passed all the blood tests and there was no drunkenness.” When the illness felt by the 14-year-old became perceived she was immediately transferred to the Health Center of Meligala, however, it was considered appropriate to send her to Kalamata General Hospital. “The little one while she was in the store felt an illness and suffered like a small panic attack,” she repeated to note that “because nothing like this had happened to her before, she was scared and we went to the doctor. She had a cardiogram and they found some arrhythmias. The doctors kept her at night at the hospital superstitiously” to monitor her health course. CORVERSE “The child drank only a simple energy drink” he clarified, speaking to Newsit.gr. In fact, as she argued, if someone gave her daughter alcohol and went to the point of danger she would be the first to file a complaint about the incident. “The kid didn’t really want to go out that night but her friend insisted. My daughter didn’t want to spoil her. Then it became what happened and nothing more,” he described. “At the health center we went to and then at the hospital no doctor certified that the child had consumed alcohol. If they had given my child alcohol I would have been the first to report it, no one is allowed to play with the health of children,” he argued.
