The meeting was attended by the President of the ΟΠΑΘ mr. Bouras Vasileios, President of the B βαθμιας School Committee mr. Dury Chrysoula and representatives from the Sports Clubs : SA PENTELIS-ΚΑΟΜ–ΚΑΛΛΙΣΙΑΚΟΣ-ΦΟΙΒΟΣ-ASTERAS ΜΕΛΙΣΣΙΩΠ– GAS – MAO – ATHLETIC UNION ΠΟÎΤΙΩΠΜΕΛΙΣΣΙΩÎ-ATHLETIC GROUP “LIFE”.
The Mayor welcomed all present, saying that he feels great pleasure and value that is between people who are active in the field of sport, recognising the huge importance of offering them in our city after the Sports it builds character, people, and shaping behaviors.
Key pillars of the strategy of the municipality in the field of Sport is that Sport in our city is done through the associations, the Municipality will determine the overall strategy, with executive and coordinating body of the ΟΠΑΘ and autonomy-self-sufficiency for every Municipal Community.
Main topics of the meeting was the concession of the closed gymnasiums and other sports areas of the municipality in sports clubs as well as the concession runs and sports spaces belonging to schools.
The representatives of the associations expressed their views, suggestions and concerns on matters of cooperation, distribution and maintenance of sports areas.
Finally, the Mayor said that we need the clubs to be very careful in the management of all of the sports areas of the municipality, to ensure that the cleanliness, the orderliness, and mainly for the safety of the children, so in a spirit of cooperation and reciprocity to promote the sport in our city.
The Mayor in closing, he stressed with emphasis that the success of begins after the completion of the wish: – NO ACCIDENTS TO SPORTS SITES.
