Meeting Between Theodorikakos and Kyritzoglou to Improve the Functioning of Local Markets

The Minister of Development, Takis Theodorikakos, met today with the President of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDHE), Lazaros Kyritzoglou, focusing on improving the operation of local markets. The discussion also covered a proposal from the Ministry of Development that gives municipalities the ability to organize exclusive markets for producers only. A shared goal of both the Ministry of Development and Local Government is to improve services provided to citizens, boost competition, achieve the best possible prices combined with superior quality, and support the country’s productive infrastructure.
