Mediterranean countries ask EU to share refugees amid migrant waves from North African unrest
ROME – European Union countries bordering the Mediterranean asked the broader EU on Wednesday to take in refugees from the unrest in North Africa, saying they shouldn’t be forced to shoulder the immigration burden alone.
