MasterChef 2025: Vaso Cooked the Worst Vegan Dish and Left Singing

Last night (March 24, 2025), Pantelis Koutakis, Marios Andreou, Vaso Diavati, and Nikos Papadakis were the four contestants at risk of elimination on MasterChef. Ultimately, it was Vaso who couldn’t rise to the occasion and cooked for the last time in the culinary competition’s kitchen. The elimination challenge involved replicating a vegan dish presented by guest chef Angeliki Charami — a recipe that proved particularly difficult and demanding for all four competitors. Unfortunately, Vaso found herself facing the exit door from the Star reality cooking show. The evening’s dish replication task required meticulous attention to detail, with contestants needing to carefully follow each step of Chef Angeliki’s recipe. It featured spaghetti compote with white pesto infused with lemongrass, ouzo espuma foam, aromatic air foam, basil oil, chili oil, garlic chips, roasted coconut, flambeed cranberries with chocolate, crispy enoki mushrooms in beer cream, and pickled mustard in champagne vinegar. Vaso’s dish turned out to be the worst, leading to her elimination. Her plate was a complete disaster, and after Nikos managed to earn four points, the judges decided not to reveal Vaso’s score due to its expectedly low value. With grace, Vaso handed over her apron to the MasterChef judges and left while singing.
