MasterChef 2025: Sotiris Departs Emotionally – ‘I Continue Life with Dreams, Goals, Travels’

Maria Zoga, Alexandros Diamantis, Vaso Diavati, and Sotiris Zarifis were the four candidates up for elimination last night (17.03.2025) on MasterChef. The contestants did everything they could to defend their place in the cooking reality show. The dish that the candidates had to replicate required high pastry technique and precision. Maria’s effort captured the ‘heart’ of the three judges—Sotiris Kontizas, Panos Ioannidis, and Leonida Koutsopoulou—as she vividly portrayed her interpretation of the dish presented by guest chef Nikos Tsolias. Despite minor imperfections, her dessert almost achieved perfection, earning her four 9s and securing her first place in the lineup. Alexandros also advanced to the top 16, while Vaso earned a commendable score of 28 points, placing second after Maria. On the contrary, Sotiris made several mistakes in his dessert, accumulating only 23 points from the MasterChef judges and guest pastry chef Nikos Tsolias. Before handing over his apron and leaving the competition, Sotiris emotionally stated, ‘I continue life with dreams, goals, travels!’
